Welcome to the Southwest Riverside County Bar Association!
This year promises to be dynamic and challenging, as we focus
on connecting our members to the community we serve. I want to
challenge all the members of our legal community to expand their
influence and impact. As lawyers, we are uniquely positioned to
positively influence others through our wise counsel, promoting
collegial relationships among colleagues, and advocating civilized
justice.
This Association is committed to education about the law and
the way it affects all of our lives. Because of this commitment,
we recognize outstanding high school students in the Mock Trial
Program. A number of our members serve as speakers to local schools,
community service groups, or other public forums. Additionally,
we are partnering with local Chambers of Commerce to provide “The
People’s Law School” – one day forums for the
public on general legal issues of interest to the non-lawyer.
I encourage you to spend some time viewing the Association’s
web site and learning about the benefits of membership. Did you
know that your entire membership fee in the Southwest Riverside
Bar Association can be deducted from the cost of your Riverside
Bar Association dues? Yes! Plus, for our low annual fee, you get
free MCLE credit at every monthly luncheon!
Browse for a moment through the biography section of our membership,
and you’ll see quite a wide range of life experiences and
practice areas possessed by our members. This Association is composed
of members of this unique community, and we’d love for you
to participate.
I look forward to meeting you at our next monthly luncheon (the
third Thursday of the month) – and please, feel free to
call or email and let us know how we can serve you!
Warm regards,
Kelly A. Bennett
